Privacy Policy - the basics 

Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy. 
 
Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.

What to include in the Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.

Booking Policy

Booking your Service

All appointments made ONLINE unless specific time/date is needed. Please call. We can accommodate up to 1 person at a time based on our availability.  The payment is taken in person at the end of your service. Please note that minors are not permitted in our facility. Scalp and skin Head Spa sanctuary cannot assume responsibility for supervising minors. If a client arrives with a minor, their appointment will regrettably need to be canceled. Pets are not allowed within the facility.

​Parking

There is a parking right outside our facility and we are located in a strip mall. Please arrive 10- 15 mins before to your appointment to ensure leaving enough time for check-in procedure. It is advised that coming to your appointment with dirty and unwashed, fully detangled hair to get the best results. Please do not wear any jewelry and make up for your comfort.

 

During & After Your Service

 

During Your Service, we request our clients to remain silent during their service for them to focus on relaxing and for the overall quality of the service. Please put your phones on a silent mode during the service.

 

After your service, you can use our dedicated hair stations to dry and style your hair. You can also Add-On Blow Dry to your service (In Advance) We DO NOT Style your hair like traditional hair salons.

​Cancellations

 

Please note that any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments must be communicated AT LEAST 24 HRS prior to the original appointment time REGARDLESS OF THE REASON. Failure to provide the required notice may result in A FEE OF 50% OF THE SERVICE AMOUNT, which will be applied to the credit card on file. If a customer cancels their appointment within 3 HOURS of the scheduled time, the appointment will count as NO SHOW and full amount of the service will be charged.In the case of a customer failing to show up for an appointment, Scalp & Skin Head Spa sanctuary will charge 100% OF THE INTENDED SERVICE AMOUNT.

 

Please be aware that Scalp & Skin Head Spa Sanctuary cannot guarantee service for any customer arriving more than 15 minutes late. While we may attempt to provide a shortened session if possible, the customer will still be expected to pay the price of the original service. Please note that putting your contact information wrong is at your responsibility. We will attempt to send all notifications about your booking to the contact information you provided. It is the customer's responsibility to honor the appointment, irrespective of whether or not a reminder or notification message is received.

 

 
Hair Detangling Policy

 

At Scalp and Skin Head Spa Sanctuary we are dedicated to providing each client with a seamless, relaxing experience. For clients with straight, curly, tightly coiled hair, or tangled/knots hair, We understand that detangling can sometimes require additional care. A light detangling session of up to 3-4 minutes is included in all experiences. However, if more time is required, we will proceed with the experience as planned, which may mean leaving hair partially tangled to maintain the flow of your visit.

 

For the best results, we recommend that clients arrive with fully detangled hair or book our Extra Detangling service in advance. Please note that if hair is severely matted or unmanageable, we may need to stop the experience, which will be charged in full.

 

Long Hair

 

To ensure the highest level of care and attention, an additional fee may apply for long or voluminous hair, reflecting the extended time and premium product usage. Your stylist will provide a personalized consultation prior to your service. Thank you for helping us provide a smooth and tranquil experience for all clients.

 

 

Pregnancy 

Scalp and Skin Head Spa is a safe practice for pregnancy. However we do not accept more than 6 Months (26 Weeks) pregnant women. If you're comfortable lying down for 50-75 minutes and can sign a waiver before the service, you're welcome to enjoy our services during pregnancy.

 

Lost Items

Please note that Scalp & Skin Head Spa Sanctuary is not responsible for lost or forgotten belongings.

 

Gift Cards

All gift card sales are FINAL. We do not offer refunds for eGift Cards or Physical Gift Cards. However, adjustments can be made in case of miswritten email addresses.
